Friendship Commanders, the Nashville-based heavy duo known for their emotionally charged sound, have just released a new video for “Keeping Score,” which is part of a double single release for their upcoming album, BEAR (out October 10, 2025, via Magnetic Eye Records.)

You can pre-order the album here.

The release follows the recent debut of the visual for “Melt,” with both tracks offering an early glimpse into the upcoming record. Across the ten-track collection, BEAR explores themes of pain, resilience, and release.

“Keeping Score” finds vocalist and guitarist Buick Audra confronting generational cycles of harm. Focusing on how women can, often unknowingly, pass down wounds by viewing younger girls as threats. Meanwhile, “Melt” dives into the isolation and heartbreak of being rejected by one’s own gender in adulthood, unpacking the emotional toll with raw honesty.

Together, these songs hint at the depth and intention behind BEAR, a record that promises to be as sonically heavy as it is thematically profound.
