With just over three weeks left until BLOODSTOCK opens its gates at Catton Park, it’s time to unveil the final wave of bands joining this year’s lineup, plus some extra on-site surprises to look forward to!
With the last round of Metal 2 The Masses winners now confirmed, the 2025 BLOODSTOCK bill is officially complete. Get ready cause it’s bursting with rising underground talent. From thrash to tech-death to ambient metalcore, this year’s additions to the Timothy Taylor New Blood Stage are a loud, proud reminder that the future of heavy music is alive and kicking.
Friday kicks off with Merseyside’s own OGUN, flying the flag for “Pyar Scouse Metal”, which is their signature take on melodic thrash. Since reforming in 2022, the Liverpool crew have been on a roll, dropping their debut album World Of Hate and building a name for high-octane chaos. They’ll be joined by Brighton’s DEVILHUSK, whose venomous metalcore blends existential angst and genre-bending fury into something raw, restless, and impossible to ignore.
Saturday sees Coventry’s EXORCISM bring their razor-sharp fusion of thrash and death metal to the stage. Formed just last year, they’ve already made serious waves with their explosive live shows and sonic brutality. From the southwest, FIGHT THE CHAMP represent Devon and Cornwall with a fierce nu-hardcore sound — expect slamming riffs and relentless energy that’ll leave no neck un-snapped.
Sunday closes the weekend with Bristol winners MONOCHROME, who deliver ambient-laced metalcore filled with haunting melodies and jarring breakdowns. It’s a sound that’s both otherworldly and crushing. Rounding things off are Burnley’s SURYA, serving up a deadly cocktail of technical precision and deathcore groove to end the festival with a bang.
